Auditoriums are notorious for bad lighting...you can boost your ISO up to compensate, but then you are left with grainy pictures. However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Neat Image (www.neatimage.com) has came up with a plugin for Photoshop to help eliminate the grain with just a couple clicks. I just used the free demo (which means I can only go up to 1024 pixels), but that was enough to sell me. I plan on purchasing it ASAP and it's quite affordable if you run into grainy pictures a couple times a year! Check out my Before and After.
UPDATE: I found out you can buy the 32-bit version and it will work on the 64-bit software too...which is nice for me, as I have both!
