Don't Forget to Edit!

I thought I had it...the most perfect raw shot that would require no editing. Of course, once you start dabbling in photoshop and raw editor, you have a hard time leaving your photos alone. I am so glad I decided to open it up and play around. Look at the 3 possibilities I came up with for what I thought was a great original photo. You don't realize how dark a photo can be or how intrusive shadows on the face can be until you start lightening them up! Plus, springtime in MN sometimes needs a little help...in raw editor I tweaked the yellows to become more green and now I have a better look than dead grass. And that vintage looking dress required a vintage feel...I could expand even more and throw a texture over it, but as I have to keep it simple because I have about 200 more pictures to edit from over the weekend, I can't devote too much time to each one. Of course the real dilemma now is which one to develop? Aren't before and afters fun?
