No need to explain on my own how to do this when Dana Suggs with iheartfaces blog has already done such a fabulous job! For those of you not sure what photography bokeh is, in a sense, it is when your image has an out-of-focus area, or think of it as "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light." Differences in lens and aperture shape can blur the image in a way that is pleasing to the eye. See one of her examples below...
