What would YOU like to see?

Well, I've been submitting posts here and there as I see the need, but now I want to throw it back to you. What would YOU guys all like to see? Do you prefer the "How To" posts or just like seeing "Finished Product" pictures or "Before and After" shots. If you like the "How To" posts, please let me know what you would like to see. Encounter anything lately that you want to fix? Ball is in your court!

  1. Hey Kirsti! I started following your post about a month ago, when my friend Anne Mornes showed me your site - and I have to say I just LOVE it! Your photos are soo amazing and the work you do in Photoshop is just so neat! I have been using Photoshop for many years, but more on the designer tool side, so to begin to learn of the possibilities to add to my photos makes me very excited!! I am so glad Anne asked you about the Vignette because that is just so neat! I have a couple of questions/requests as well.... I have the PS3 version and I work on a Mac - do you know anything about how they differ - for example, when I went to do the Vignette my screen looked much different - just curious if you knew your way around that as well? Also, when Anne and I were trying out some of the things you had posted earlier, we couldn't quite figure them out - I love the 4 part series you did of your daughter - with all the different shading and values! How did you do those? Also, we were trying to fix a photo of Anne's husband where the side of his face had a huge hot spot on it because of the sun - it was so white! How do you fix that so it's not so hot?
Looking forward to learning more from you! Again, love your photos and your ideas!!

  2. Emily, I'm not sure how to reply to just you, so I'll just post here! Glad you like my site...when I was starting to learn PS, I was frustrated by people willing to share their secrets. I started with the design side too, but when I got my new camera I started learning to edit and now I only take in RAW and have to edit every shot. You know, I think the vignette is not available like that in PS3, but my next post is the Custom Vignette. I bet that's why screens look different, plus I'm not sure if the Mac screens always look the same. Oh, the healing brush is how I fix acne, sun spots, baby rash, dirt, etc....keep the questions coming!
