Inexpensive Backdrops

I promised, so here it is. My steal of the week! I found a post where someone used a paper backdrop and it sounded promising. There are reasons to my madness though, so I should back up. Rustic barnwood for backdrops and flooring is pretty hot right now, but it's a trend. And while I love the look of it, I'm not so sure I'm ready to drop a couple hundred on a backdrop that I can find out in the countryside; however, with Sella's birthday being in a cold season, I did want something fresh for her 2-year photos. I decided to try the paper backdrop. I thought it would cost around $50 or so...I was wrong...so wrong. The roll of paper is 4'x12' and only set me back $12.99! And $5 of that was for shipping. Now don't get me wrong, IT IS PAPER, so it's lifetime won't be long, but Sella was able to stand on it (without shoes) and not pierce it and it does not seem to wrinkle or crease easily. All I did was tape it on my wall and let the bottom roll out and voila! And look how nice it stores! So if you are interested in a cheap trend, I recommend you buy a roll at www.mardel.com ~ don't you think the outcome was worth the $13?

  1. The site is hard to navigate, so here is the direct link for the paper...
