Color Boost

I like boosting the color in my outdoor photos because sometimes nature just needs help! This photo is a perfect example of why I firmly believe in taking in raw settings. There is no filter on this photo, although you can find them, but taking in RAW I have more control over what I want to boost. I only chose to boost the blues and greens in the photo...I did not want the entire picture to scream at you, but I wanted some boldness. Because I shot in RAW, I was able to select the blues and darken the hue, and increase the luminosity. I did the same for the greens, except made the greens more blue-green vs. yellow-green. The effect was pretty successful.
